I would guess it was 8 or 9 years ago, Megan, Jim and I were at the Michigan Little Celebration horse show, in Mason, Michigan. Horse shows are usually a lot of fun, but also a whole lot of work. The first night is usually a late one, trying to get all the horses ridden, and then we are shy on sleep the rest of the weekend. Even that does not fully explain what happened at the show that year though. For some reason, Megan and I got the song Trashin the Camp from the movie Tarzan in our heads and could not get it out. There are no intelligible words to the song, unless you count the constant refrain of "Dwee Dot Dwee Doooooo". We sang that refrain in the truck, we sang it in the barn aisle, we sang it washing horses, we sang it every time we turned around it seemed. And each time, we would just start laughing uncontrollably. Even Jim, who is usually all business at horse shows, couldn't help but laugh at us apparently losing our minds. He would just shake his head and walk the other way. It was way beyond silly, and I specialize in silly.
Even now, the song makes me laugh, and I always see Megan giggling uncontrollably when I hear it. "Dweeee Dot Dweee Dooooooo"
