Welcome Friends!

At long last, I have decided to set off on a new adventure.  Spending so many days at a time away from my home and family, I have found my routine here in the Fort growing stagnant.  Sure I have Sebastian, my Great Dane, for company, but conversation is very much limited.  Facebook offers some interaction, and of course, my cell phone is my lifeline to home, but time can slow to a crawl between trips back to Ohio.  Since I have some time on my hands, we will give this a try.
For the last month or so, I have greatly enjoyed following along the blog of a high school classmate (Thomas Carpenter) as he worked his way through the 30 Day Song Challenge.  I thought that this might be a good way to get my feet wet, so for the next little while, I would like to share with you some music.  The challenge, for those that are unfamiliar, is a list of 30 selections that fit a given description.  I have a feeling the real challenge will not be to come up with a song, but to come up with only ONE for each day, but I will give it a shot.
