I do not profess to be a good dancer. I am neither graceful nor limber on the dance floor but do my best to cover these deficiencies with enthusiasm, especially when the right songs hit. I’m pretty sure this has always been the case, but this didn’t stop me from spending many a Saturday night of my early years at the club wading into the crowd, carving out a spot and dancing til the lights came on. Good times!
Those nights are long gone, and not days, most of my dancing is on the inside, but there are still a few songs that will drag me off the sidelines and transport me back to those good old days. This is one of them. The irony of the title is not lost on me, but if anyone can turn back time, I guess Cher would be the expert.
