A Million Dreams - from The Greatest Showman
I had so many options here that it was tough to narrow it down to one pick. I have so many soundtracks from Broadway to Disney to Movies in my library because most of them tell a story I enjoy listening to them and watching the story in my head. It’s a good way to pass a chunk of time but not be idle in front of the television. My brain is like a toddler, unless I keep it occupied, there is no telling what mischief it will get into.
I finally narrowed my list to The Greatest Showman, but even then the options were plentiful. The whole soundtrack is great, and for whatever reason, almost every song holds some special meaning to me. That actually ruled out several of them (Rewrite the Stars, Never Enough, From Now On) because somethings are just best left treasured in the heart. Instead I went with A Million Dreams. In many ways I suppose I am a dreamer, so not only does the song suit me, but it also makes it a perfect pick for today.
