I Believe My Heart by Duncan James and Keedie
Not too long ago, I was looking for something different to listen to at work. It wasn’t a high energy night, I was more on auto pilot and really just looking for something to fill the silence as I made my way through the evening. I settled a fairly comprehensive anthology of Andrew Lloyd Webber music spanning his vast catalog of musicals. It was several hours worth of music, most of it familiar territory so it suited my needs just right. I did not even make it to the chorus on this song before I had to stop what I was doing and retrieve my phone to see what it was. It was a song I had never heard from a musical, called The Woman In White, that I did not even know existed. I guess the territory wasn’t as familiar as I thought.
Were I to contemplate another wedding,, I could see using this song. We’d probably ride down the aisle on unicorns too. Hey, if you are gonna dream, you might as well dream big.
